BOARD MEETING HELD ON 18th May 2025

Held straight after AGM at Tooleybuc Sporting Club

Congratulations to Brian Horton, Kevin Reid and Stuart Tompsett on their nominations to the MMBR Board.

Treasurers Report: same as AGM

Changes to MMBR Bendigo Bank Account
Any two of Ron Boyd, Marie Scott and Tony Cantwell to be signatures on the Bendigo Bank Account no: 106873169 and term deposit A/c No: 205190242, with Jean Fairchild to be deleted. Moved Lucy Thomas, sec Gary Borg.

General Business
Marie Scott to be appointed Secretary/Treasurer moved L. Thomas, sec G. Borg.

Selectors:
Male – Adam Louttit (T), John Keely (ND), Garry McCaig (MV) have nominated. Sunraysia to find one.
Female – Jennifer Blainey (T), Val Munro (S), Ray Wilson (MV) and Lisa Critten & Matt O’Bree (ND) have nominated. As there are two nominations for Northern District a discussion took place. It was decided that Matt would be the ND selector. A letter to be sent to Lisa, thanking for her nomination. Moved L. Thomas, sec B. Horton.

Honorariums 2024-25: remain the same ie President $1000, Secretary $1200, Treasurer $800, board members $250 each, board selectors $250 each and fuel money ($50) to AGM attendees who drove their car. Moved G. Borg, sec L Thomas.

Fees 2025-26: to remain the same ie Affiliation $15 per player
State Fees – $10 to MMBR and $5 green fee to club hosting event.
Pennant Teams – $30 each
Champion of Champion Singles $15 to be invoiced to clubs

Only 60 & over mixed fours to be played. Due to lack of entries in the other 60 & over events (singles and pairs) and finding dates for these to be played.

This committee is to write up their conditions of play and present to MMBR board.

The MMBR vests are no longer getting used because players have their own hoodies. It was decided to give the board members one and when ask players playing at regional level.
