BOARD MEETING Tues 9th December 2025 SUMMARY

BUSINESS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MEETING

1. New Holland Echuca – Pat Quinn to follow up sponsorship.
2. Signage of sponsors – Looks great. Ian Morrison has done a fantastic job.
3. Seat as requested from Greens – Seat to be the length of the noticeboard. Material has been ordered and Ian Morrison to complete job after Christmas.
4. Gas bottles in BBQ area – Ian Morrison has relocated the gas bottles outside the Kitchen in the BBQ area and hooked them up to the BBQ via a switch.
5. Greens help – John Keely has provided a job description for Daryl Weymouth. Daryl would like to be paid fortnightly. Mary has spoken to Di from the Golf Club and they can only accommodate 5 people to be paid fortnightly with the program they are using. Mary will check with Di in regards to the possibility of upgrading their program. Daryl commenced his role on the 1st of December and is only being paid for the hours that he has worked @ $35 per hr. B green has been soil tested and a working bee will be held early next week. A green to be done later on. A quote for a new line marker at $1000.
6. Hams night – 16 teams @ $15 a person. Raffle $200+
7. Classic fours – 24 teams entered. Peter Bibby helping Mick Carmody with the draw. Catering needed.
TREASURERS REPORT
Treasurer reported a cheque balance of $18,752.49. We are prepared to pay half of the cost of the fridge/freezer in the club house $1159. We are also prepared to pay half for the new stoves in the club house when they arrive. Mary will transfer excess cash after Christmas.

SUB COMMITTEES
Social - Sausage sizzle—approx 25 stopped. Charged $5. Covered our expenses. Planning Christmas dinner @ $25 per head. $50 spent on decorations.
Greens report – Volunteers are happy.
Catering – Request for help to cover the Classic Fours tournament well received.
Match – Effort being made to get club games played. 4’s draw to be done up.
Golf – Gary Valentine spoke to Bruce Morrison about the possibility of helping on the bar for our Christmas function. If not available our resident elves will help out. Thanks Yvonne and Ron.
