ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD 17th May 2026
AT 1.30PM AT TOOLEYBUC SPORTING CLUB.

Welcome. President Tony Cantwell welcomed everyone and declared the meeting open.

Minutes. The minutes of the MMBR AGM held on May 18th, 2025, were confirmed, Moved Sue Nichols, sec Amber Wood


Finance. Financial report was handed out, with a bank balance as of 30th April 2026, $46361.90 and Term Deposit $32781.02. Marie Scott moved the financial report be accepted, seconded Robert Cox CARRIED

Bowlers have supported the Murray Mallee Region very well by taking the next step from being winners at the Divisional level to complete in regional events.

Tony Cantwell declared all positions vacant for the election of the MMBR board

Election of Office Bearers.

These Board members will continue for their second year.
Marie Scott, Brian Horton, Stuart Tompsett, Amber Wood nom by Gary Barber (no Tyrrell Lady last year),
President Tony Cantwell (took over from Ron Boyd last season, as Ron was unwell)
Board Member Lucy Thomas nom by Robert Smith
Board Member Gary Borg nom by Graeme Hayes
Board Member Kevin Reid nom by Mark Bowen
Board Member Sue Nichols and Di Smith both were nominated for the position of Sunraysia Lady Board Member. Each lady got up and gave a presentation on their bowling careers. Each club were entitled to one vote. The Sunraysia representative on the Board is Di Smith

Tony Cantwell then thanked Sue Kelly for her contributions to the MMBR over several years.


Selectors. To be appointed by the MMBR Board

Honorariums: 2026-27season.
Honorariums will be approved, by the Murray Mallee Region Board.

Region Umpire. Appointed by the MMBR Board.

Region. Levy/Fees. 2026 -2027 to be approved by the MMBR Board
